Our Featured Tutor
Neil Onslow is a practicing photographer and academic with over forty years experience in the industry. Neil holds the Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society and Fellowship of the British Institute of Professional Photography and maintains strong links with the industry. Neil more recently successfully completed a Masters degree with a Distinction, focussing on photography's relationship with memory and its influence on the development of one’s identity. Having spent over twenty years teaching and developing courses up to honours degree in Photography and Media, he is now delighted to offer his wealth of experience to aspiring photographers just starting out, or those already on their way that are now looking for more advanced tuition in a specific field of practice. Neil is the founder of the School and will be the tutor for the majority of programmes supplemented by additional visiting expertise as and when required.
'At Your Own Pace'
Because teaching is undertaken on a one-to-one or small group basis, the learning process is much more personalised. Learning styles therefore can be tailored to individual needs making the whole experience about you.
'It's Our Passion'
The one thing we all share; whether tutor or student, amateur or professional, is our passion for looking at and making images. Once bitten by the ‘photography bug’ it never leaves us and that passion remains with us all our lives as does the opportunity to practice at any age.
Hobby, Travel, Future Career - Fun!
Whatever’s your reason for undertaking a photography course, one thing is certain, no matter what level you aspire to, or why you wish to improve your photography, it will occasionally frustrate you but primarily it will be a pleasurable and ultimately fulfilling experience.
